• Sunday Men's and Women's Doubles - cancelled due to rain forecast

Details:

• Format:

  • Round Robin with possible medal matches between sub-brackets for Mixed and non-mixed doubles (click "Register for Doubles" on the right to register)  

  • A scramble for people new to tournaments, in which every player gets to play with as many teammates and opponents as possible (click "Register for scramble" on the right to register for this event)

• No rain dates

• Cost: $20 for one event, $30 for two.  Fee is per player, not per team.  Pay at the gate.

Notes:

Once again, as in 2020, we are facing unusual public health issues that prevent us from running a full-scale, indoor pickleball tournament.  Taking into account the cancellation of the Atlantic Regionals and the movement of the senior games Pickleball matches to September, we decided to give players a July tournament this year.  With the long days in July, we hope to run longer sessions than we did in Gherkinfest 2020, and are planning to play from 8:30 AM through 6:30 PM (change due to our now being allowed to start a little earlier).

To practice good social distancing, we will forego our normal Saturday night social this year.
