Pat Savolt Projects
Pat Savolt, Midcoast Maine Pickleball's (MMP) first secretary, passed away on June 12, 2024. Pat bequeathed a substantial monetary gift to MMP that we are using to Support Our Pickleball mission in her honor. This page will document those projects.
September 2025: MMP sponsored a 3rd Kid's Camp at the MARC courts. This 4 day Kid's Camp provided expert on-court guidance for 10 kids 8-16 years old. The MMP donation to support this camp provided instructor time, free paddles and balls, and a T Shirt for every participant.
August 2025: MMP sponsored a 2nd Kid's Camp at the MARC courts. This 4 day Kid's Camp provided expert on-court guidance for 24 kids 8-16 years old. The MMP donation to support this camp provided instructor time, free paddles and balls, and a T Shirt for every participant.
June 2025: MMP sponsored a Kid's Camp at the MARC courts. This 4 day Kid's Camp provided expert on-court guidance for 24 kids 8-16 years old. The MMP donation to support this camp provided instructor time, free paddles and balls, and a T Shirt for every participant.
May 2025: MMP upgraded the Neptune Courts with new chairs and a new sun shade.
April 2025: MMP donated money to Elizabeth Sylvester for paint used on courts in Dresden.
