What's Happening in Maine?
Picklefest 2020 is cancelled, but Gherkinfest is stepping up!
On October 17, from 9 until 3, we'll run a small tournament at the outoor Pegasus courts in Brunswick. Mixed doubles will be the only event, with levels and schedule (2- or 3-hour sessions) depending on registration.
Pickleball Instruction
Learn-to-play at Brunswick Rec Tuesdays 5:30 to 7 PM
Taught by Teressa Houtman. Fee charged.
Now at the Landing Y, Wednesdays 1-3 PM, for beginners and advanced beginners (people who have played a little, know the rules, scoring, and basic techniques of the game). Barb Rondeau will be there to organize the play, and will be offering tips, answering questions, or improving individual skills. A great chance to improve and enjoy friendly competition.
No charge for Y members; $5 drop in fee for all others. You don’t need to sign up for this or come every week.
